Family Shoot October 30, 2016

I wanted to share a few photos from this fun shoot with Kristin Solomon and her three kids. Not the blogger type but since this was my first family shoot in a while I wanted to share these with you guys. I shot this with my new 1DX mark II which I love and the classic Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens for Canon EF. Ken Rockwell does a great review on this lens. Check out Kristin Solomon Photography She is very gifted and talented. You will love her work. Hope you guys enjoy these photos!

New Sigma 24mm 1.4 DG HSM Interior Shoot at Christmas by Smith Cameron Photography

I wanted to give the new Sigma 24mm 1.4 DG HSM a go on Christmas Day and these were the results. I am a huge fan of Sigma and own their 50mm 1.4 DG HSM which I absolutely love. Sigma really stepped up their game when they released their art series lenses. The new 24mm has 15 glass elements in 11 groups, little to no chromatic aberration with the use of Low Dispersion glass. Sigma definitely takes the prize for the sharpest 24mm lens available for both Canon, Nikon, and Sigma shooters. Having used the 35mm 1.4 DG HSM (a must have and great price point) this new lens is a keeper especially when shooting interiors, landscapes, and product photography. So when you are looking for a great lens that gets you way more bang for the buck take a look at Sigma you won't be dissappointed. Cheers

Behind the Scenes

Special thanks to Sean Junqueira and Stuart Jones for allowing me to join them on this photo session with Crystal Dee. I was able to capture some behind the scenes moments with my canon 5dsr and 50mm 1.2.
